    Day 1: Arrival in Negombo

    Morning: Land CMB; transfer to hotel in Negombo. Short orientation and rest.

    Afternoon: Visit Negombo Fish Market and Dutch-era canal district to observe local coastal culture.

    Evening: Dinner at a local restaurant sampling Sri Lankan seafood specialties.

    Overnight : Negombo.

    Day 2: Anuradhapura (Ancient Capital)

    Morning:Very early drive to Anuradhapura. Walk among the stupas, monasteries, and the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi tree — the oldest historically documented tree in the world.

    Afternoon: Continue to Polonnaruwa (approx. 1.5–2 hrs). Explore the royal complex, Gal Vihara rock carvings, and ancient irrigation systems.

    Evening : Drive to Sigiriya and check into a lodge

    Overnight : Sigiriya.

    Day 3: Dambulla & Sigiriya

    Morning: Visit Dambulla Cave Temple with its painted caves and Buddha images.

    Afternoon: Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress and spend time exploring the water gardens and frescoes.

    Evening : Village cultural visit with local crafts demonstration and simple home-cooked meal option.

    Overnight : Sigiriya.

    Day 4: Drive to Kandy; Temple of the Tooth

    Morning: Drive to Kandy with a stop at a spice garden; farm-to-table stories and demonstrations.

    Afternoon: Check-in and visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in the Royal Palace complex (timings permitting)

    Evening : Attend a Kandyan cultural dance and drumming performance.

    Day 5: Nuwara Eliya — Colonial Era & Tea Culture

    Morning: Scenic drive kandy to Nuwara Eliya. Stop at tea plantations and watch tea plucking demonstrations.

    Afternoon: Tea factory tour and afternoon tea in a colonial hotel; explore town architecture influenced by British colonial legacy.

    Evening : Travel to Ella and enjoy the scenic mountain views along the way. ( The world famous Sri Lankan upcountry train ride to Ella with breathtaking nature sceneries can be arranged upon customer request - pre reserved train tickets will be provided

    Overnight : Ella.

    Ella — Hill Country Charm & Scenic Adventures

    Morning: Visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge and enjoy a walk through lush tea estates.

    Afternoon: Explore Ravana Falls and relax in the cool mountain air. Optional visit to Little Adam’s Peak for panoramic views.

    Evening : Travel to Galle and enjoy the coastal drive.

    Overnight : Galle.

    Day 7: Galle Fort Stop & Departure

    Morning:Drive toward the southern coast; stop at Galle Fort for a walking tour of its ramparts, churches, and museums (UNESCO site)

    Afternoon:Continue to Bandaranaike Airport (CMB) for departure or head to Colombo if time allows.

    Evening : Flight home.
